With “This news is about you” (Dit nieuws gaat over jou), Dagblad van het Noorden and Leeuwarder Courant place the reader at the centre of the news. Together with Mediahuis Noord, we created campaign films and photography that connect national and international developments to local impact.

Directed by Eva Oosterveld, the campaign combines news footage with analog documentary style imagery from Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe. By staying close to the people the stories are about, the films show how regional journalism helps shape the world around them.
